It’s been a while since I last posted. A few things have since happened. I’ve moved houses and went a week or two without the internet. Ever seen that south park episode where the internet suddenly disappears and chaos ensues? That was what it was like at my joint. But now that we are online with our own account, I no longer have to try and hack into the wireless accounts of my neighbours and feel complete.

Another thing is I’ve finally got myself a new Mac, a 24 inch iMac to be be more precise. It comes with a Core 2 2.8ghz proccy, 4gbs of ram and a terabyte of hard-drive space. This is the first mac I’ve ever owned and damn is this mutha sexy. The thing about Mac’s being alot more stable than PC’s I’ve found out to be quite bullshit. That little spinning colour wheel likes to pop up every now and then but not having to worry about virus’s and spyware is of some relief. Or is it?…..

Unlike a PC there is no system defragmenting every week, instead I do the verifying and repair permissions in the disk utility and the disk verify just to make sure everything is running along smoothly. There is no CTRL ALT DELETE stats of how much cpu and ram is being used but you can get an istat widget which does the same thing plus it tells you the temps of all the vital components. The design of the Leopard OSX looks so stylish and over the top, I quite simply love it and can see why so many fashionistas choose apple.
