I just bought a copy of The Video Co-pilots plugin for AE, Twitch. I’ve only been playing around with it for a day but already I love this plug-in! It’s one of those simple plug-ins that provides impressive effects with very little effort. For those that don’t know, its basically a wiggler type plugin that does very impressive stuff. My favourite is the RGB split which mimics a busted up television signal plus many others. I don’t know if my explanation does it any justice, you’ll have to see the promo for it on their site.

I’m sure it won’t be long til we’ll be seeing this effect used in everything from commercial openers to short films, (like Trapcode Shine). Kudos to Andrew Kramer and the team on their first plug-in effort. It is a real ripper!
